Gong Bath

Held once a month at Pitstone Pavilion on a Friday Evening

PITSTONE PAVILION 6.45pm - Marsworth Road, Pitstone, Nr Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU7 9AP

2025 dates… February 21st, March 21st, April 11th, May 16th, June 20th, July 18th, August 22nd, September 19th, October 24th, November 21st, December 19th.

Gongs start at 6.45pm arrive 6.35pm to set up your space.

A gong bath is an immersive sound experience

It's called a 'bath'  because sound waves bathe you as relax.  All that is required of the person attending a gong bath is to be warm and comfortable so they can relax.  The listener only has to let go and allow the sound of the gong do the work.
Modern-day science has proven that all matter consists of energetic vibrations or waveforms, and that all waveforms produce sound even if we can't hear them. All matter vibrates and the human body is no different. The physical sound vibration of the gong provides a potentially harmonising and powerful vehicle for meditation & transformation.
During peaceful states of the mind, which are typically achieved during meditative phases, the body’s natural healing process is profoundly supported.
The sound and resulting vibrations generated by the gongs and other sound instruments such as singing bowls, stimulate the theta brain frequencies that are commonly associated with deeper states of meditation. Heart and respiratory rates slow down, tapping into the parasympathetic nervous system or rest and digest mode and into a place where the body is more able to heal itself.

Places are limited and booking in advance is essential.

The sound bath is for 1 hour class followed by tea/coffee and cake. Class fees are £27.00 per person.

Natural Lift facial massage incorporates a blend of techniques drone from Japanese facial massage, Indian facial massage, facial Reflexology and Accupressure. This treatment is also known as Facial Rejuvenation Massage.

The techniques used act as a natutral face lift helping clients to look and therefore feel younger. The face often holds a lot of tension held in the muscles which can build up and cause puffiness, lines and wrinkles.

The Japanese techniques work on the meridians which aim to balance the whole body and mind. This form of massage can improve complexion by increasing blood and nutrients to the skin, reduce facial wrinkles and age spots and helps to release toxins and bacteria held in the tissues to reduce puffiness and stimulate lymphatic flow, strengthens and tones the muscles of the face reducing lines and sagging of the skin.

Natural Lift Facial Massage is designed to enhance natural beauty and health and to bring relaxation to the client.

Thai Foot Massage

Thai Foot massage is a holistic practice originating from a culture of Ayurvedic medicine and yoga. It’s a combination of reflexology, acupressure, and massage. The primary purpose is to open the energy channels and enable the correct flow of energy through all its points. According to Traditional Thai Medicine, these channels represent energetic pathways distributing universal energy throughout the body.

By pressing and massaging the acupressure points, it relieves not only the discomfort coming from muscular pain, but also treats the energetic imbalance circulating through our bodies, aiming to bring about the correct functioning of body and mind.

Some of the benefits  of  Thai Foot Massage …

  • Increased relaxation - leading the body to its rest and digest mode where the body is more able to heal.

  • Improved mental health - the increased relaxation will help to reduce stress and anxiety.
